Legendary American dancer and choreographer Merce Cunningham died in 2009, aged 90, after a long and hugely influential career shaping modern dance. This April marks what would have been his 100th birthday. To celebrate the occasion, 25 dancers in each of the three cities of London, New York and LA will perform 100 solos created by Cunningham. The pieces, selected by the company’s alumni, will also be streamed live online. It’s a must-see, no matter where you are in the world.

The London date at the Barbican has already sold out, so secure your tickets while you can.
