Kicking off the final week of voter registration, Poetry, Politics and the Polls is a FREE event that will include voter registration, a presentation from representatives from both political camps, door prizes, and a live concert. Drinks and food will be available.
Poetry, Politics and The Polls will be hosted by Jon Goode - the Emmy-nominated spoken word artist featured on CNN’s Black in America. The event will also feature HBO Def Poetry alums Amir Sulaiman, Tommy Bottoms, Abyss, and Queen Sheba with live music provided by Gritz & Jelly Butter.
