international black docufest: 9/18 – 9/20

The International Black DocuFest will take place September 18th – 20th, 2008 at the High Museum of Art’s Walter C. Hill Auditorium. As the only documentary film festival of its kind, the IBDF offers three days of free documentary film screenings, moderated panel discussions, and the IBDF photography exhibition.
The festival will also highlight Atlanta-based talent; including the Atlanta Premiere of “This Far By Faith: Barbados Centenarians” by award winning director and Atlanta native Cassandra Hollis, an Arts & Activism panel discussion that includes Stic-man of the internationally acclaimed rap duo Dead Prez, and the photojournalism by pop culture photographer Shannon McCollum who has documented the likes of OutKast, Lil John and countless other pop culture giants.
