the life and times of an urban bohemian in the city of the phoenix
Nooo…I’m not talking about this year’s presidential or Senate elections. This is waaaaay more important than those - and you won’t have to contend with long lines at the polls. I’m talking about you having the chance to influence one of Atlanta’s most popular outdoor summer festivals….Screen on the Green.

Since we didn’t have a say when this year’s Screen on the Green was moved from Piedmont to Centennial Olympic Park, we should at least be able to decide what movie we want to watch on the last week of the festival, right? Well, the folks over at Peachtree TV agree and have launched a contest for would-be Screen on the Green attendees to vote for 1 of 3 movies they would like to see during the last week of the festival. The choices are:
Of course, I can’t help but think that the contest is a ploy to spark interest and offer appeasement to those of us who’ve been grumbling under our breaths about the move to the new venue. But, it’s a helluva good ploy, dontcha think?
So head over to PeachtreeTv.com, cast your vote (subliminal message: backtothefuturebacktothefuturebacktothefuture) and wait for the results. You can vote as often as you like… spread the word!
cheers,
k
