The french toast with a twist...I am going to try the french toast. I can smell the flavors now - I come from a family of cooks - healthy, gourmet and down-right lard based. Early in the morning we'd all lay in the oldest person's bed and together we'd ponder the menu and everyone would prepare their expertise. Throughout the day whatever was not finished we'd nibble on...Left-overs where my favorite. Some other breakfast/brunch spots with yummy treats: Ria's Bluebird on Moreland and Two Thumbs Up is good if you luck up!

Never would have thought of making French toast from French bread. Not sure why.

I am a huge fan of breakfast any time of the day. Correctly cooked breakfast potatoes are a real work of art. I also have a morning coffee ritual. Fresh ground French roast made in the French press. Perfection.
