Lauded among independent and avant-garde theater buffs as one of the great American films of all time, Killer of Sheep is finally being released on the small screen. Turner Classic Movies will air the film and 4 other shorts from director Charles Burnett on MLK day - Monday, Jan. 21 - at 8pm.

I’ve never seen the movie, but I’ve heard great things, and the clip below has me waiting with bated breath. As a matter of fact, I’m going to go set my DVR right now ;-).
